Cambreleng Avenue runs through Belmont, in the west Bronx near East 187th Street. City property records show a mixed block: a five-story walk-up from 1912 stands near two-story frame houses built in the 1920s and 1930s. Heights and frontages change from one lot to the next, so work on a block like this means planning each frontage on its own.
